For people who want the forge to themselves: three hours of one-to-one teaching in the smithy, at your pace and on your project. First-timers usually start with the basics — fire management, drawing out, bending and twisting — and make a set of hooks or a fire poker. If you've forged before, bring an idea: garden tools, hardware for a restoration, a first attempt at pattern welding. Tobias adapts every session to where you are and gives you a short written summary of what to practise next. Steel, tools and safety gear are included.
