A calm weekend at the workbench for anyone who loves paper. Ingrid teaches three classic bindings, each building on the last: a Japanese stab binding on Saturday morning, an exposed-spine Coptic binding that lies flat on the table, and on Sunday a hardcover case binding with endpapers and a cloth spine — a proper book you'll be proud to use. You'll learn folding, grain direction, sewing stations, gluing without warping and covering boards. Everything is provided: paper, board, bookcloth, linen thread and tools, plus a take-home starter kit (bone folder, awl, needles). Tea and cake both afternoons.
