Details
This is a beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction to the potter's wheel — no experience needed, just a willingness to get your hands dirty. Over eight weekly sessions you'll build up centering, pulling and trimming as separate skills before putting them together into finished pieces: a mug, a bowl, and a small vase by the end of the course. Studio Terra supplies clay, tools and studio time between sessions for extra practice, and the last two weeks are dedicated to glazing and firing, so you leave with a small set of tableware you actually made yourself. Classes run in groups of six, so you get real one-on-one time at the wheel with Runa each week rather than just a demo from the front of the room.
